What we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
Manx Wire is designed to collect as little as possible. We comply with the Isle of Man Data Protection (Application of GDPR) Order 2018.
Comments
When you comment we store your chosen display name, your comment, the page it was posted on and the time. To prevent spam we store a one-way hash of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into your address. Comments are reviewed by our moderation agent, which uses Anthropic's Claude API to classify comments; Anthropic processes comment text only to return that classification.
